How many batteries does the fairy need to fly?
The base requires 6 AA batteries (annoying in itself) and that is where the fairy gets her charge, but’s just not enough ooompf. After a couple of launches, she barely gets off the ground and needs to be recharged. When she does have a fresh charge, she will fly and you can control her with your hand like the commercial shows–BARELY.

How do I use the Fairy in the base?
Remove the charging cord, turn off the base, and when you’re ready to play, turn on the switches on both the base and the fairy. With the fairy in the base, press the launch button. The light will blink green once and the fairy will lift off. Put your hand under the fairy to control her flight.
