As far as I know, the 2004 Z06 is the best year (even if it’s marginally better than the previous yer) — it definitely has updated shocks (although you can place them on any year Z06 I believe) and has seats that don’t rocket back and forth (I know a 2004 Z06 has better seats than 2001 and 2002 Z06’s).
