Fatdog64 Linux is a small yet versatile 64-bit multi-user Linux distribution. Originally created as a “fatter” (=more built-in applications) derivative of Puppy Linux, Fatdog has grown to become an independent, mature 64-bit Linux distribution while still keeping true to Puppy Linux spirit: small, fast and efficient.
Is the fatdog64 logo copyrighted?
The original Fatdog64 logo is designed by AFG Sinaulan (forum member “afgs”) and is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike (CC-BY-SA). It has come under our attention that there are people and enterprises offering Fatdog64 merchandises (CD, DVD, T-shirts, etc) in various e-commerce websites (Ebay etc).
Can I buy fatdog64 on CD or DVD?
We do not sell or otherwise distribute Fatdog64 in physical media in any forms (CD, DVD, USB flash drive, etc). Fatdog64 is officially distributed as soft-copy only, in the form of ISO-hybrid .iso files, which we make available free for all to download without a fee.
Does fatdog64 support Slackware packages?
Since FatDog64 is not based on Slackware it is possible to install packages from Slackware, but hey may not work. FatDog64 also supports SFS packages, but there are only a handful of such packages.
