Who can stay in DoD lodging?
The following categories of people are eligible for MWR recreational lodging — this list is not all inclusive:
- Active-duty service members.
- Military family members.
- Military retirees.
- National Guard and reserve members.
- Defense Department civilians.
- Disabled veterans.
- Purple Heart recipients.
How do you use DoD lodging?
Call the front desk and speak to the staff directly. Use the facility’s local phone number rather than going through the central reservation line or the DoD Lodging website. Select the menu option to reach the front desk, NOT the option to make a reservation.
